This is a Keepon. He is a robotic tool to help in the study and nurturing of autistic children who have problems with social interactions. Because children with autism may become overwhelmed when talking with people, Keepon has simple features and gestures. He responds to those talking to him with a nod and dances when a beat is played. 

I think he’s adorable and comforting. I want one.
